Seniors have been reading “The Secret to Raising Smart Kids.” By the way, the secret, according to the author, is to develop a growth mind-set in your children. So today the Seniors played challenging games to determine if they had a growth mind-set or a fixed mind-set. A few comments were heard like, “I don’t like this game!” or “These trucks won’t move!” But all in all, these seniors know working hard when challenges arise is what it take to be successful. #HornetHype
To say the least our Hornets have had a VERY busy week! A crew got to go to the Industry Career Expo and did a lot of cool things from driving heavy equipment , pouring concrete, and climbing up wind turbines. #HornetHype
10-12 graders got to go to a college Health Expo & get some hands on experience with different tasks in different medical fields! How awesome! #HornetHype
