The Adult Living/Intro to Foods class is being offered through distance learning this year with students from Ashland-Greenwood. Each day, we get together via zoom and go through the lesson just like an in-person class!
This semester we take on the kitchen in the Intro to Foods class with both school cooking. Take a look at what’s been happening in the FCS department! Great job to Ms. Richards & her students!
A huge S/O is also given to Mr. Richards at A-G for facilitating and supervising the class in Ashland.

Spelling Contest:
Tanner Schelkopf got 2nd place in the 6th grade & 4th place overall in grades 5-8 Champions round!
Chase McKay got 4th in 7th grade. Cody Holtzen got 2nd in 8th grade & got to compete in the Champions round!
Karly Eastman got 3rd in 8th grade.

If you've never had a Joel Burrito, you need to get one now and give it a try. Burritos have sausage, egg, cheese, and hash browns inside. The students improved a lot this week! They are starting to feel more comfortable with their speeches & getting the hang of competition. Congrats to Sophie Faltys for receiving 2nd in Novice Persuasive & Hailey Eastman for getting 7th in Novice Informative. We are looking forward to Minden on the 12th!
