6th graders presented “Miss Louisa and the Outlaws” and 5th graders presented “The Baker’s Neighbor”. Costumes, Creativity, and Cake added extra fun to the play productions! Good job, Kids!! #HornetHype
The 4th, 5th, and 6th graders collaborated on a mural for our halls. They learned about the artist Jen Stark, and pulled inspiration from her style. We discussed the various color schemes, and how with a few lines, and some color, you can make some pretty mesmerizing art!
Spring Activities Pictures
Activities pictures will be on Monday, 3/14, starting in the morning. Parents, please remind your students to make sure they have uniforms and the proper attire that their coaches have asked them to wear with them right away and be ready to change! Smile big!

On Tuesday our students got to meet with Eddie the therapy/comfort dog!! He was a good boy & the Hornets would have loved to keep him! 🤍💙 #HornetHype
These were all too good not to share!! Wednesday was “social health”! The Hornets got an ice cream social at lunch time along with a photo booth with our very own Hornet mascot!! 🖤🧡 #hornethype
Well our season isn’t quite over, yet! Bre’ley Hunnicutt (2nd Informative) and Sophie Faltys (1st Persuasive, 3rd Extemp) are STATE BOUND!! Congrats to our other medalist, Hailey Eastman, for receiving 5th place. Go Hornets! 🧡🖤 #HornetHype
Tuesday our Hornets learned about nutrition & tried 4 different types of new foods along with came to school with “anything but a backpack” 😂👏🏼 #hornethype
February 26th was our last regular season meet for the year! Congrats to Sophie Faltys for placing 5th in Persuasive, and Bre’ley Hunnicutt for placing 4th in Informative! Another honor—Kylon Jurgens placed 8th in Extemp.

Both our junior high & high school teams have 1 more quiz bowl meet each remaining in their season. Junior high is on 3/16 at Lawrence Nelson & the last meet for the high school is 3/23 at Lawrence Nelson as well!
