This month Spanish 2-4 students got to attend a Spanish concert in Central City & had a BLAST! Students got to go on stage to learn salsa, play in his band, & do other Spanish activities. The day was topped off with some Pueblo Viejo in Aurora, perfecta! 👏🏼💃🏼 #HornetHype

JH Quiz Bowl is in Roseland tomorrow for the Silver Lake Public School meet. We will leave from the front of the school at 7:50 AM. Students are to bring all school items to school because we will be coming back after in time for class. Thanks!

Yesterday we had a Veteran's Day program and would like to thank all those who attended, those who have served, and currently serving 🇺🇸.
Special thanks to Mrs. Consbruck and her choir/band students who performed taps and the different branches of the military songs.
Thank you to our 6th grade class who put together a variety of informative presentations and did a fantastic job presenting them.
Thank you to Mr. Patsios, our history teacher, who also had a very special presentation on the Arlington Cemetery.
Lastly, a special thank you to local Army National Guard Pilot & Instructor, Matt Greathouse who gave a speech about what it is he does along with a inspirational message for our Hornets & staff. We are so grateful to have had you and thankful for your service! #HornetHype ❤️🤍💙
