Our gold medalists today at the Meridian Mustang Invite in Friend were Jordan Margritz in the 100 hurdles and 400 relay, Peyton Schutt in the pole vault, long jump, and 400 relay, Agueda Calvo Perez in the 400 relay, Jayci Buettner in the 400 relay, and Blaydon White in the long jump. The girls team finished as runner-up to the EMF team. The boys team finished in 4th place. Peyton Schutt was voted as the Co-Female Athlete of the Meet earning 3 gold medals in the pole vault, long jump, and 400 relay as well a silver medal in the 100 hurdles. Great work Hornets! #HornetHype

The Giltner Hornet High School track & field team attended the Osceola Invite on Thursday, April 3, and the following came home with GOLD medals: Avery Reeson - 3200, 1600, and 3200 relay; Owen Nuss - 110 High Hurdles; Jayci Buettner - 3200 relay; Lilly Bish - 3200 relay; Blaydon White - 100; and Gracie Kreutz - 800, and 3200 relay. The boy's team finished in 3rd place, and the girl's team finished in 5th place. Way to compete Hornets! They will be back in action on Monday, April 7, at the Meridian Mustang Invite at Friend. #HornetHype
